About our black seed oil
Used in traditional healing and immunity defence for generations, Black Seed Oil has also been extensively studied by the scientific community over the last fifty years. Some studies have shown black cumin oil to have effective antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties thanks to the presence of phytochemicals such as thymoquinone, thymohydroquinone and thymol.

Why Erbology?
Inspired by Middle Eastern traditional medicine, we work with farmers in Egypt to sustainably source and cold-press our oil in small batches
Top tip: Take 1-3 tsp neat or mix with honey and warm water to make an immunity shot. You can also use it to make a delicious peppery salad dressing
Ingredients:
100% organic cold-pressed oil from black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa (L.)).
How to enjoy:
You can take up to three teaspoons of our Black Seed Oil neat per day. It also adds a delicious flavour to salad dressings, soups and pasta dishes, but avoid using it in cooking as it doesn’t like to be heated.
Alternatively, dilute a small amount in a carrier oil and apply to skin and hair. As our oil is very potent, we recommend performing a patch test first to avoid any irritation.
Store your amber glass bottle in a cool, dark place and please recycle after use.

"The old Bessarabian countryside – a hidden gem in Eastern Europe – is probably not the place most people would look for inspiration. But the childhood summers we spent there were ones where we breathed in the scents of plums, quince, and goji berries that our grandma scattered to dry over unfolded newspapers. We hid behind sacks overflowing with walnuts.
We played in the milk thistle fields and climbed our favourite black cherry trees. And while we played, our babushka would feed sunroot leaves and amaranth to the goats, pick berries for us, or sip her favourite St John’s wort or dogwood tea.
It was idyllic, a place seemingly lost in time. And since we haven’t yet worked out how to recreate the past, we decided to at least try to tap into the wholesome living we once enjoyed – and to share it with you."
